Is there a limit to how many images I can combine? expand_more
There is no hard limit imposed by the tool. The practical limit is your browser's available memory — each image is loaded into memory during PDF generation. For typical document scanning use cases (10–50 pages of A4-sized photos), generation is fast. For very large batches (100+ high-resolution photos), processing may be slow or the browser may run out of memory. For large-scale PDF production, desktop tools like Adobe Acrobat or command-line tools (ImageMagick) are more appropriate.
Will the PDF be searchable (text searchable)? expand_more
No. Images embedded in a PDF are raster images — they are not text-searchable. To create a searchable PDF from scanned images, you need OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, which analyses the image and overlays a text layer. Tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or Google Drive (which automatically OCRs uploaded images) can create searchable PDFs from scanned documents.
