Built for the web. Designed for privacy.

Utility Spark is a free, privacy-first toolkit built for professionals who need reliable, fast, and secure tools — without uploading their data to unknown servers or paying a subscription fee.

rocket_launch Why We Built Utility Spark

Utility Spark brings common file, text and calculation tasks into one browser-based toolkit. Each tool explains its supported inputs and known limitations so you can decide whether its output fits the job, then check the result before using it.

We built Utility Spark to be different. Our foundation is a simple belief: your tools should work for you, not harvest data from you. Every tool we build is designed to run entirely within your browser using modern Web APIs — Canvas, Web Crypto, document libraries and FileReader. External library and font requests are separate from local tool processing.

We started with the tools we personally needed most — a PDF merger that didn't require creating an account, a JSON formatter that wasn't plastered with interstitial ads, an income tax calculator that actually uses Indian tax slabs. Today, Utility Spark has grown to 74 published tools across 10 categories, intended for developers, designers, freelancers, and finance professionals across India and beyond.

verified_user How Privacy Works Here

Almost everything runs locally. When you compress an image, the HTML5 Canvas API handles pixel manipulation directly in your browser's memory. When you merge a PDF, the pdf-lib JavaScript library constructs the output document on your device. When you generate a SHA-256 hash, the browser's own SubtleCrypto API performs the computation — the same cryptographic engine your HTTPS connection uses.

Tool input processing is local rather than a file-upload service. Pages still request fonts, libraries and, after consent, analytics from external providers. Local processing does not guarantee that a tool’s result is accurate or that every input is suitable for it.

info External Rates and Local Conversion

Tool inputs are processed locally. The Currency Converter (which fetches live exchange rates from an external API — the selected base currency is sent, never any file data). The Word to PDF Converter extracts raw text with Mammoth and creates a simple PDF locally using pdf-lib. Original formatting, images, and table layouts are not preserved. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What We Stand For

lock

Privacy by architecture

Privacy is not a policy we wrote — it is a technical decision baked into how every tool is built. Client-side processing is the design, not a checkbox.

Free. Actually free.

No freemium tiers, no "export requires Pro", no credits system. All 74 tools are available without a payment requirement.

bolt

Speed as a feature

Local processing avoids uploading inputs to a processing server. Tool libraries and fonts still need network access; processing time depends on the file and device.

straighten

India-native content

Our financial and business tools include rupee-based illustrations and Indian terminology. Some models use historical assumptions; read the displayed year and limitations and verify current requirements with the relevant official source.

Maintenance and limitations

Founder and product manager Meet Dhameliya maintains the site. Tool documentation is stored alongside the code and names its author. Updated dates describe editorial revisions; they do not imply independent expert approval.

Financial tools are estimates under their displayed assumptions. Some use historical models. File conversions may lose formatting, metadata or interactive features. Read the limitations and inspect results before using them.
